This Week in Broadstone

Hello Broadstone neighbours! What a week it’s been, buzzing with local happenings and a real sense of community spirit. We’ve had a little sparkle of news from our very own doorstep, thanks to the BBC, reminding us of all the good things going on right here. It's also been a week where our beautiful green spaces have been in the spotlight. We’ve seen planning applications for some tree care, including a Monterey Cypress at 1 Barry Gardens needing a little attention to a hanging branch, and a Scots Pine on Upper Golf Links Road getting some planned surgery. Sadly, an English Oak has also been flagged for needing removal due to significant decay, a reminder of the natural cycles around us. And speaking of shaping our future, this week has been a strong reminder of the upcoming Broadstone Town Council elections. Our local councillor, along with the Town Council itself, is really encouraging us all to get involved and use our votes. It’s a fantastic opportunity to have a real say in how our lovely community develops and thrives. So, let’s all stay informed and get ready to make our voices heard!
