Fancy a bit of local greenery news? It looks like there are plans afoot to trim back a couple of Silver Birches on Ascot Road in Broadstone. The council is currently considering a tree work application to manage their growth and ensure they're safe for everyone.
T1-Silver Birch - full crown reduction of no more than 1.2m from the tips inwards. Ensuring that no pruning wounds exceed 55mm in diameter and that all cuts are brought back to viable growth points. T2-Silver Birch - Reduce all over by no more than 2m from the tips inwards in order to mitigate the risk of catastrophic failure of the primary leading stems. Ensuring that all cuts are brought back to viable growth points.
